Kenai Spurr Offshore Platform

Location: Kenai, Alaska

In 2025 BELL was commissioned to scan the exterior, landings, catwalks, stairways, and wellhouse rooms of an existing offshore platform. The focus of the project was to gather as much information on visible pipes, supports, structural components, stairways, and catwalks to assist in civil engineering designs. Bell used the Faro S150 scanner to furnish 3D scan data, as well as 360-degree panoramic images. Since this site was not easily accessible, the large data set efficiently provided by the scanner, was ideal.

Willow Pipeline Project

Location: North Slope, Alaska

2023-2025 BELL offered survey support on a pipeline expansion project on the North Slope. This multi-year project was over 25 miles of pipeline (over 2600 piles) ranging from the Willow project to Prudhoe Bay lease. Survey services include establishing and expanding survey control networks, precise pile staking, pipeline layout, tie-in support, and post-construction as-builts. A key differentiator in the success of this project was our ability to conduct stake-out computations in real-time, enabling immediate field adjustments and ensuring alignment with project tolerances. BELL’s field teams maintained close coordination with multiple contractors, facilitating seamless communication and schedule adherence.

Gathering Center 1 (GC1) Wet Gas Project

Location: Prudhoe Bay, Alaska

In 2015 BELL provided 3D scanning services for 19 complete modules and the associated exterior interconnected piping located at the GC1 facility. This effort was completed to help BP engineers in the projects initial planning phase as well as their sub-contractors in the final design phase. The goal of this project was to have a completed design in place before the next facility turnaround (TAR) to remove and replace the wet-gas piping throughout the facility. BELL laser scanned all the modules associated with project, tied all of the gathered laser scan data to the local plant control network and provided a complete ACAD model of all of the elements within each module including, but not limited to; structural steel, piping down to ½” diameter, electrical boxes and conduit runs, HVAC, instrumentation, and architectural features sertraline anxiety.

Baker-Hughes

Baker Hughes Production Facility

Location: Deadhorse, Alaska

BELL provided civil, land surveying, mechanical, and plumbing design for this 93,700 SF production facility. Design included hydronic heat and gas fired boilers, ventilation for shop areas and office spaces, and self-contained water storage with drain/fill hookups coordinated with the local service providers requirements.

Alaska Natural Gas Pipeline

Alaska Natural Gas Pipeline

Location: North Slope, Interior, Alaska

BELL  provided surveying services to a large natural gas pipeline (AKLNG). A total of two crews  provided survey support for environmental team to conduct research over the proposed pipeline and gas treatment plant on Alaska’s North Slope and Interior.

Hilcorp Master Agreement

Location: North Slope, Alaska

BELL has had maintained a stable and continuous presence on Alaska’s North Slope for more than 37 years.

Our team recognizes how important the oil & gas industry is for Alaska’s economy and ultimately, Alaskan residents.

BELL provides surveying, civil engineering, and 3D laser scanning for Hilcorp (previously BPXA), which involves standard daily practices including supervising field and office personnel in various surveying tasks for all pads, roadways, pipeline routes, and site facilities. We also provide quality control services for installed earthen and concrete materials and civil engineering support for the design of new and/or improved sites throughout the oil patch. In summary, we are in charge of the coordination and technical oversight of civil engineering, surveying, and quality assurance in pipeline and facility construction projects.
